The City of San Diego has been operating a 1-million-gallon-per-day Pure Water Demonstration Facility since June 2011. Thousands of people have toured the facility in person, but the tour is also available from anywhere. In the videos below, members of the Pure Water team, from wastewater operators to engineers, to water resource specialists, take you on a virtual tour to provide an up-close look at the water purification technology and show how recycled water is cleaned so it is safe to add to San Diego's drinking water supply.
